Light has always been a very powerful image.  It is associated both with life and with death.  It often has positively and hevenly association.  However lucifer was the Angel Of Light.   Hitler used light to paint with a terrifying abslutesim.  The Blues Brothers used light to illuminate a world of almost infinite abiguity.   The use of light in this door makes a bold statement, concistent with the brash self promotion of the chain.  But its execution suffers the blotchy effect common to florescent back lit panels.  I am sure in the future these kinds of displays will be replaced with a different lighting technology.  The information for the salon is as follows:

200 Harbor Dr.
Suite 105
San Diego, CA 92101
